What is it used for (Indication) ?

Sildenafil is in a class of medications called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors. Sildenafil treats erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This increased blood flow can cause an erection. Sildenafil treats PAH by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs to allow blood to flow easily.

How to take this medicine (Administration & Dosage) ?
The usual dose for erectile dysfunction is 50 mg once daily taken one hour prior to sexual intercourse with or without food. Based on effectiveness and toleration, the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg.
Side effects of medicine
This medication is generally well tolerated. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, diarrhea, rashes, and dyspepsia.
