What it is used for (Indication) ?
This medication is prescribed for the alleviation of signs and symptoms of spasticity resulting from multiple sclerosis, particularly for the relief of flexor spasms and concomitant pain, clonus and muscular rigidity.
How it works (Mechanism)?
Baclofen acts on the spinal cord nerves and decreases the number and severity of muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis or spinal cord diseases. It also relieves pain and improves muscle movement. This medication is sometimes prescribed for other uses too.
What is Infection ?
Spastic movement, especially in instances of spinal cord injury, spastic diplegia, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease), peripheral neuropathy and trigeminal and glossopharyngeal neuralgias.
How to take this medicine (Administration & Dosage) ?
It is usually taken three times a day at evenly spaced intervals. Give oral doses with food or milk.

Mild side effects include drowsiness, light-headeachness, dizziness, respiratory depression.
